A regional energy official have disclosed that Good energy management begins with a reduction in the demand thorough energy efficiency implementations.
Program Manager of Energy at the Caricom Secretariat Devon Gardner made the disclosure as he addressed the opening of a Regional Workshop on: Simulation Tools for Energy Efficiency in Caribbean Buildings here on Monday.
Mr. Gardner said it is much cheaper to install energy efficiency measures rather than renewable energy methods.
Mr. Gardner also said St Vincent and the Grenadines is unproductive in the way it utilizes its energy.
