Minister of Agriculture, Saboto Caesar has welcomed the move by groups and organizations across the country to organize activities to celebrate National Heroes Day.
Minster Caesar expressed his approval, during the National Heroes Day Festival, held in Fancy on Saturday March 14th.
He noted that the day provides a time of reflection and introspection for Vincentians, and is also a source of inspiration for citizens to make a greater contribution to national development.
This year’s Festival in Fancy was a celebration of the lives of the students who died in the Rock Gutter accident on January 12th and was held under the theme: Tribute To Our Fallen Heroes.
