The 6th Medical Mission to be conducted in St. Vincent and the Grenadines by the World Pediatric Project WPP for the year, will wrap up here today.
This month’s Mission is focusing on Pediatric Cardiology, and is being carried out by Professor of Pediatric Cardiology, Dr. William Mosko-witz.
Dr. Mosko-witz says the non-surgical mission is focusing on early detection of heart defects in children.
Dr. Mosko-witz said particular attention is being given to children with rheumatic fever.
The clinic is being conducted at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.
