The Streams of Power Ministries will host a Dinner and Awards Ceremony this week as part of its 50th Anniversary Celebrations.

The event is scheduled for this Friday March 27th at the Streams of Power Assembly Hall at Ratho Mill, where individuals will be recognized for their contribution to the Ministry over the years.

One of the highlights of the activities was a Public Speaking Competition last week Wednesday, which featured five competitors.

They spoke on the topic “Should the Biblical Fundamentals be supplemented in order for the Church to be more effective in the 21st Century?”

The overall winner was Mandella Campbell of the Upper Room Ministries, followed by Tamira Browne of Streams of Power Sion Hill in second position and Jewel Warren of Streams of Power Carriere placed third.

The Best Prepared Speech was won by Sherileen Richards of Streams of Power San Souci and the Best Impromptu segment was won by Mandela Campbell.

The other participant was Donsella Farrel of Streams of Power Bequia

The 50th Anniversary Activities will climax this Sunday March 29th with a March and Rally at Victoria Park.

The activities are being celebrated under the theme “From Strength to Strength”.
