Vincentians have been made aware of the benefits of the drug Heberprot-P that will soon be made available here.
The drug was developed by Scientists at the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology in Cuba as a cure for diabetic foot ulcers.
Officials from the Ministry of Health Wellness and the Environment provided detailed information on how the drug works, during NBC’s Views on Issues discussion programme on Sunday.
