Dr. Gonsalves led this country’s delegation to the CARICOM/USA Summit, held in Jamaica last week Thursday. He was among Caricom leaders meeting with United States President Barack Obama.
The Prime Minister was accompanied by his wife, Eloise, and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Senator Camillo Gonsalves.
From Jamaica the Prime Minister and his delegation traveled to Panama for the 7th Summit of the Americas meeting, in Panama City.
This country’s Ambassador to Venezuela, Andreas Wickham, joined the delegation for that meeting, which was held under the theme “Prosperity with Equity – The Challenge of Cooperation in the Americas”.
