The Youth Affairs Division in the Ministry of National Mobilization this morning launched their 2015 Anti Crime Campaign, under the theme “Building Communities
Through Families”.
It is focused on engaging the community and youth. The initiative utilizes sports as a platform to rekindle kinship bonds between relatives and teenagers who would have either previously committed a criminal offence or are exerting truant behavior.
Youth Officer Acting, In Charge at the Youth Affairs Department Philcol Jeffers said that the youth department has decided to continue to be innovative and creative in ways of reaching the youth of SVG.
