A number of innovations will be featured in the 2015 programme for Child Month, as the Ministry of Education moves to focus on the health of the nation’s children.
Word of this has come from Senior Education Officer in charge of Early Childhood Education Gwenette Cambridge, as the Ministry prepares to launch Child Month activities on April 29th.
Mrs. Cambridge says this year’s Child Month programme will include a number of sports events for the children, and will be held under the theme: Nutrition and Play, Healthy Children Today.
She said the sports events are being introduced, as part of efforts to reduce the levels of obesity among children.
