Minister of National Mobilization, Frederick Stephenson is appealing to farmers throughout St. Vincent and the Grenadines to work closer with cooperatives throughout the country.
He reiterated the importance of this collaboration during last week’s launch of the Fancy Agricultural Vegetable Farmers’ Cooperative (FAVCO) at the Fancy Primary School.
Last week, FAVFCO also launched its “Vegetable Seedling Production Under Mini Bench Nursery” program under the theme “Eat Healthy……Live Longer”.
Minister Stephenson said there are tremendous benefits to be derived from the Agricultural sector if all the stakeholders work today.
Minister Stephenson is also appealing to farmers who are members of cooperatives to abide by the rules of their organizations.
