Trade Services Week Round Table Discussion

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade is hosting a Round Table Discussion tonight as part of activities to observe Service Week.

The Ministry is collaborating with the SVG Coalition of Service Industries to host the activities under the theme “Building Capacity in Trade in Services”.

Director of Trade, Cuthbert Knights said the activities are primarily geared at highlighting the enormous role played by the Services Sector to national and economic development.
The topic to be discussed at tonight’s Roundtable is “How Global Value Chain in Services can play a Role in Small Economies like St. Vincent and the Grenadines”.

The discussion takes place at the Memorial Hall from seven tonight.

The activities will continue tomorrow with a discussion on Career Path and Services with students across the country.
