The process of cleaning up this country’s Voters List is soon to begin, which will see the number of Registered Voters significantly reduced.
This will be done through the passage of the Representation of the People Amendment Bill, which has received unanimous support from Members of Parliament from both sides of the House.
In presenting the measure, Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves said that the process will result in the removal of over 23-thousand names from the voters list, these he said include persons who are living overseas.
