The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Band says it is expecting to host a program of the highest quality when the 2015 Summer Program gets on the way tomorrow.
Band Master, Inspector Bernard Haynes says, this year’s program runs from July 21st to August 21st under the theme “Building Minds through the Art of Music”. About eighty youth from across the country are expected to participate.
Inspector Haynes says, during this year’s program a number of lectures, as well as sports will coinciding with the music classes.
Inspector Haynes says the summer program started in 2008 and over the years the program have seen an increase in participation.
In the meantime, the inspector is appealing to parents and guardians to have their children involved in one of the many summer programs which are ongoing throughout the country to keep them positively occupied
