A two-day Conference hosted by the local Police Welfare Association opens here today under the theme: Empowering Middle Managers for Organizational Success.
The Conference for Non-Commissioned Officers of the local Constabulary takes place today and tomorrow at the Methodist Church Hall, Kingstown.
The Opening Ceremony is hearing addresses from Prime Minister, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, Police Commissioner, Michael Charles, and Chairman of the Police Welfare Association, Inspector Trevor Bailey.
The guest speaker is the Director of the Community College, Nigel Scott.
The Topics to be discussed include Police Leadership and Management, Domestic Violence, Ethics and Integrity of Police, Crime Scene and Traffic Management, Search, Care and Custody of Prisoners and Fire Management.
