Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health Wellness and the Environment Luis De Shong has been outlining the advances in public health, which have helped to increase the life expectancy of Vincentians.
Mr. De Shong was addressing a group of senior citizens from Biabou, at the launch of a commemorative magazine, to celebrate the group’s 6th anniversary.
He said this is an achievement that needs to be celebrated.
Mr. De Shong said the Ministry of Health is committed to supporting and implementing public health interventions which are beneficial to the health of the society, especially the elderly.
