Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves has described the strike by the SVG Teachers Union as an abysmal failure.
The Prime Minister says figures received indicate that of the sixty one schools Forty-four of them had attendance between 80 and 100 percent.
He said according to the figures, less than 15 percent of Teachers stayed at home.
