Benefits To Young Vincentians

The Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines is continuing to provide assistance to young people who are interested in the Nursing Program.

While addressing Supporters of the Unity Labour Party Rally in Layou, to celebrate the anniversary of the party, Party Leader, Doctor Gonsalves outlined several measures that the party have taken to help vincentians.

He noted that currently, St. Vincent and the Grenadines is the only country in the world that is offering free nursing education, while providing students with a monthly stipend to attend nursing school.

Additionally, Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves said Cabinet has approved sixty five persons to enter the Nursing Program at the Nursing School.

Doctor Gonsalves also made mentioned of other benefits to young vincentians, including the covering of economic cost of students attending the University of the West Indies by the government.
