The Ministry of Transport and Works says it expects to conduct coastal defense work in the areas between Bellevue and San Souci in the North of the Country.

Chief Engineer, Brent Bailey tells NBC News they will be focusing attention on the Yara-Ba-kwa River and the Bridge at Bellevue which is almost in the sea.

Mr. Bailey notes that the Bridge is also less than ten metres from the low water mark and they have to look at Coastal Defence work in this area to address the coastal erosion.

Mr. Bailey points out that they are also looking to address the Mt Grennan, San Souci, Spring and Dark View areas in order to address the issue of Coastal Erosion.
