State Funeral For Grafton Cephas Isaacs Scheduled For Tomorrow

A State funeral of former Member of the House of Assembly and Representative for South Leeward Grafton Cephas Isaacs, will be held Tuesday at Methodist Church, Kingstown.

The funeral, which will include both a viewing and a service, will be open to the public.
The body of the late Grafton Cephas Isaacs will lie at the House of Assembly Chamber, Court House from 10:00 am to 1.00 pm tomorrow.

Viewing of the body will commence at ten in the morning with Governor General Sir Frederick Ballantyne.

This will be followed at 10:15 by the Honourable Speaker of the House of Assembly; The Honourable Prime Minister; The Honourable Leader of the Opposition; Members of Parliament; Former Members of Parliament; The Judiciary; Members of the Diplomatic Corps and Visiting Dignitaries

And from 11am it will be the turn for Members of the General Public.

The funeral service will take place at the Methodist Church, Kingstown, from 2:00 p.m.

All flags in the state will be flown at half-mast tomorrow, as a mark of respect.
