The Global Organization of People of Indian Origin (GOPIO) St. Vincent and the Grenadines Chapter has offered congratulations to the Unity Labour Party on the victory at the recent General Elections.

The Organization says it believes that the victory validates the determination and perseverance in the spirit of the forebears of the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, who overcame enormous obstacles to build a better and cohesive future for themselves and their descendants.

It says it also believe that the victory validates a high level of confidence in the progressive agenda and programs of the Unity Labour Party.

GOPIO says it acknowledges the initiatives taken to date, and look forward to continuing progress in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Our very best wishes to you, members of the cabinet and the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

We look forward to continuing dialogue and interaction with you and members of Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines on matters of mutual interests, and would be delighted to host a lunch or dinner meeting in your honour when you visit New York.
