The Ministry of Education has issued an appeal to parents and guardians to ensure that children DO NOT CONSUME ANY ALCOHOL during the current Christmas season.
Senior Education Officer in charge of Early Childhood Education, Gwynette Cambridge said they have received reports that parents are allowing children to consume alcohol during the Christmas holidays
She stressed that alcohol should only be consumed by adults and should always be consumed in moderation.
Mrs. Cambridge also reiterated the Ministry of Education’s appeal to parents and guardians to ensure that children consume healthy foods during the current Christmas season.
