Young Vincentian Dillon Ollivierre of Bequia, who has been selected as one of sixty youths from across the world to receive the Prestigious Queen’s Young Leaders Award in 2016, says he will be continuing his youth development programs this weekend.
Mr. Ollivierre was selected from a group of over two thousand applicants as a result of the work he is doing on Bequia in the areas of Youth Development and Disaster management.
He says this Saturday December 26th, Boxing Day, a Musical will be staged at the Bequia Seventh Day Adventist Church, featuring the talent of the youth.
Mr. Ollivierre said the funds raised from this program will be used to assist the schools in Bequia. He said he would also continue his youth development work during the month of February with a program dubbed Rise Up Bequia.
