The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment has embarked on a nationwide public sensitization campaign to educate Vincentians about the Zika virus.
Chief Health Promotion Officer, Patsy Wyllie, said the campaign will target schools and communities throughout the country.
Speaking at a news conference last week, Miss Wyllie said the ministry is also planning to host a public symposium on the Zika virus later this month.
And, Minister of Health, Wellness and the Environment, Luke Browne, said the ministry will use every avenue available to spread the message about the Zika virus.
