Coconut Industry Collaboration In The OECS

The representative of the Caribbean Agricultural Research & Development Institute CARDI to St. Vincent and the Grenadines Dr. Gregory Robin has welcomed the launch of the coconut water and composite flour value chain project here.

Dr. Robin expressed his approval of the project during remarks at the official launch at the NIS Training Room on Monday.

He noted that similar projects are being executed in other OECS countries, and highlighted the importance of collaboration

Dr. Robin said the value chain for composite flour has already been established in collaboration with the FAO, and he hopes that the projects will bring more partnerships among stakeholders and funding agencies.
