For the first time, St. Vincent and the Grenadines will today join the rest of the world in observing World Dialysis Day.
The Day will be observed here under the theme: “Kidney Disease and Children: Act Early to Prevent It.”
Consultant Nephrologist at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital- Dr. Twanna Browne- Caesar told NBC News that the Nephrology team at the hospital in collaboration with the SVG Medical Association and the SVG Dialysis Association have been hosting a series of activities, which will culminate today in Kingstown, in recognition of World Dialysis Day.
