The inaugural Finance Fair of the local Chamber of Industry and Commerce is set to open here today and will continue tomorrow.
According to the Chamber, the event is being held to stimulate economic growth and to spread knowledge regarding the use of financial instruments to greater advantage.
The Finance Fair will be held daily from 9am to 5pm daily at Frenches House, and will target Entrepreneurs, Small and Medium Sized Enterprises, Start-Up Ventures students seeking financing for further education and the General Public.
Executive Director of the Chamber, Tony Regisford said the event will provide a forum for the general public to interact with financial institutions.
The Chamber said the Ministry of Finance has fully endorsed this event, and Budget Director, Mr. Edmond Jackson is scheduled to be a guest speaker at the Finance Fair edition of the Chamber’s Business Luncheon, which is set to take place on Thursday May 12th.
