The curtain came down on the 2016 Carnival celebrations yesterday, 5th July, 2016 with the staging of Mardi Gras at the Victoria Park.
During the Carnival weekend, the Carnival Development Corporation CDC staged the Miss Carival Pageant on Friday; the Power/Ragga Soca Monarch Show on Saturday; the Dimanche Gras Show on Sunday; Jouvert activities on Monday morning and finally Mardi Gras on Tuesday.
The CDC is expected to release the official results of the Mardi Gras and Jouvert competitions today.
