The Police are investigations an accident involving motor vehicle P-782, where 17-year-old Kiaro Shortte of Simon died.
Police say a black jeep owned and driven by David Charles, a 50-year-old sailor of Sayers, ran off Hopewell public road and overturned over an embankment about 2:45 am on August 19th.
Four persons sustained injuries about their bodies.
According to Police, passenger Kiaro Shortte died after she sustained serious injuries, while David Charles sustained injuries to his left foot.
This brings the total to five fatal accidents for the year.
