The Public Sector Reform Unit will be hosting a number of activities to commemorate Patriotic Week as celebrations continue to mark this country’s 37th anniversary of Independence. Patriotic Week will be held from Monday 24th to Friday 28th October 2016, under the theme ‘Cherishing Our National History To Promote Greater Levels Of National Pride In The Public Service Of SVG’.
Clarence Harry, Director of the Unit, said that the objective of Patriotic Week is to promote greater levels of national pride within the Public Service.
Mr. Harry said a number of activities are planned for the week, including a Hats Off to Independence Exhibition and he expects creativity from our public service. The public will also be given the opportunity to view these hats and give their opinions.
