The strides made by the local Credit Union Movement here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and in the Region are being celebrated today.
This as the country joins the global community in observing International Credit Union Day.
Several activities such as Member Appreciation Day are being held to observe the day under the theme “Credit Unions – The Authentic Difference”.
Dwight Lewis, President of the SVG Cooperative League, said over the years the Unions have been working together to the advance the Credit Union Movement.
This he said is commendable and he congratulated the credit union movement on its continued journey of financial inclusion and improve access across St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
