* Defending champions, Year Two Arts, Sciences and General Studies outplayed Year One Technical and Vocational Education beating them 25-7 in the first round of the East Caribbean Group of Companies (ECGC) St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College Netball Championship at the Campus Court at Villa yesterday afternoon.
In yesterday afternoon’s second match, Year One Arts, Sciences and General Studies defeated Year Two Technical and Vocational Education 21-18.
The first round of the Championship will end tomorrow. At 2 pm, the Division of Teacher Education Team (2) will meet Year One Arts, Sciences and General Studies, and at 3 pm, Year One Technical and Vocational Education will oppose the Division of Teacher Education Team (1).
Matches will also be played at the Campus Court at Villa.
* Yesterday’s scheduled match in the Vita Malt Sion Hill Netball Championship between Sion Hill and Owia Trailblazers at the Hard Court of the Sion Hill Playing Field was postponed because of rain.
The Championship will continue on Monday.
