A Cultural Wake will be held in Diamonds on Friday in celebration of the life of Social Activist, Oscar Allen, who died on Friday July 28th.
The Cultural Wake will be preceded by a Candlelight March from the Diamonds Gao and end at the Earlene Horne Square.
Family and Friends are required to assemble at the Diamonds Gap at 7pm on Friday.
The celebration will continue on Saturday with a Service of Thanksgiving at the Kingstown Methodist Church.
A Singspiration and Tributes will begin at noon and will be followed by the Service at 1pm.
Persons attending will then proceed to Diamonds, where a final Community viewing of the body will take place at the Earlene Horne Square between 4 and 4:45 pm.
Mr. Allen will be laid to rest at the New Adelphi Cemetery.
