An appeal has been made here for Public Servants to be more efficient in implementing Government Projects.

The appeal came from Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves during a News Conference last week, as he spoke about progress being made in carrying out the Government’s Public Sector Investment Programme.

Dr. Gonsalves said the Government has negotiated a number of agreements for several projects.

But he noted that the relevant personnel in the Public Service have not been moving quickly enough to implement these projects.

The Prime Minister said a lot of work has already been done in relation to the Public Sector Investment Programme, but he noted that there is a lot more to be done.
