World Hypertension Day is being observed today in order to promote Hypertension prevention, detection and control.
here in St. Vincent, the day is being observed with the staging of a Health Fair in Georgetown under the theme “Know Your Numbers”.
Medical Registrar at the Georgetown Smart Hospital, Dr. Amma Martin said the Health Fair will have representation from Health officials in District Five, which spans from Byera to Fancy.
Dr. Martin has issued an invitation to the public to participate in the Health fair, which ends at about three this afternoon.
