Superintendent of Prisons, Brenton Charles, said SVG Prison Service will work with all stakeholders to ensure the rehabilitation of prisoners in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
He was speaking at last week’s handing over of a quantity of equipment from the Regional Security System (RSS), through funding provided by the 10th European Development Fund (EDF).
Superintendent Charles said the SVG Prison Service welcomes the support of all stakeholders in ensuring a successful rehabilitation programme and that the Prison Service has a mandate to ensure the rehabilitation of this vulnerable group.
