As part of their crime fighting measures, Local Business Owners are being encouraged to install surveillance cameras at their Businesses.
Minister of Finance and Economic Planning Camillo Gonsalves said at a Media Conference yesterday that the Government will provide incentives to Businesses that are willing to install CCTV Cameras.
He said this issue was recently discussed with Hoteliers along the south Coast.
Minister Gonsalves also pointed out that the Government will partner with the Republic of China on Taiwan on a CCTV Installation Pilot Project to support the efforts of the local Police Force.
