The Carnival Development Corporation (CDC) says plans are well underway for Vincy Mas 2019.
CEO at the CDC, Ashford Wood told NBC News, that the CDC held a Retreat during the month of January, during which a review was carried out of Vincy Mas 2018 and discussions were held on possible innovations for the 2019 Festival.
He said the festival will kick off on Saturday May 4th with the official launch which will be followed by the highly anticipated Miss SVG Pageant on Saturday June 1st and the Soca Monarch Semi Finals on June 22nd.
Mr. Wood said the main activities will begin on Friday June 28th, Fantastic Friday. Mr. Wood is also encouraging private promoters to continue working alongside the CDC to ensure that Vincy Mas continues to grow.
