Minister of Agriculture, Saboto Caesar was among Regional Policy Makers attending a Maritime Minsters Meeting in Jamaica yesterday.
The Conference hosted by the Maritime Authority of Jamaica and the International Maritime Organization, addressed Maritime Transportation, and specifically the harnessing of the Blue Economy for the Sustainable development of the Caribbean.
Minister Caesar said the meeting was very timely as St. Vincent and the Grenadines continues on its quest to utilize the resources in the blue economy in a sustainable manner.
Minister Caesar said it was agreed at the meeting that throughout the Caribbean they want to see increased production and productivity from the Blue Economy.
