The government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines continues to invest tremendous resources in the provision of skills training for Vincentian youths.
Director of the National Qualifications Department (NQD), Kenroy Questelles, said this is being achieved through initiatives such as the TVET Development Project.
The Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) program enables learners to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to function in the workplace.
Mr. Questelles said these projects are intended to provide opportunities for the socio-economic development of the country.
Mr. Questelles said the pogrammes seek to improve the marketability of Vincentians.
