Chief Laboratory Technologist at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, Elliot Samuel said efforts are being made to ensure the safety of healthcare workers who are in contact with suspected coronavirus cases.
He gave the assurance, while speaking at a news conference hosted by the Ministry of Health on Monday, to discuss the Ministry’s efforts to mitigate any possible outbreak here.
Mr. Samuel said protocols are in place to protect healthcare workers while dealing with the collection and testing of specimen.
