Police Commissioner Colin John has urged Members of the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force to strive to be professional at all times.
The Commissioner was addressing close to two hundred Police Officers who were involved in the first Commissioner of Police Parade for 2020.
The parade was held at the Victoria Park on Thursday under the command of Superintendent of Police, Mr. Kenneth John.
Commissioner John also congratulated the Police Officers for their service to the organization and by extension, to St. Vincent and the Grenadines in keeping its citizens safe.
The main highlight of the parade was the awarding of the Regional Security System (RSS) Medal of Honour to forty three Police officers who performed humanitarian duties in Dominica in 2017 during the aftermath of hurricane Maria.
