A“Youth in Pan, Round Table Discussion” will be hosted here this week by the Youlou Pan Movement (YPM), to highlight areas of concern relating to the art form.
A release from the YPM, said the forum will take place at the Peace Memorial Hall on Wednesday February 26th beginning at 4:30 p.m.
The event will be an open-style forum which aims to discuss the many issues associated with Steel pan amongst the young Steel pan players across St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The objective is to encourage youths in the Steel pan community to air their views and concerns on these topics which will be used to further the development of the Steel pan Artform.
The event is open to everyone and is expected to attract a mix of Steel pan Players, Steel pan Educators and Culturally enthused persons.
