Jamaican Dancehall star Vybz Kartel seeks medical treatment in St. Vincent and the Grenadines

Vybz Kartel

Jamaican Dancehall Entertainer Adidja Palmer popularly known as Vybz Kartel, is currently in St. Vincent and The Grenadines to seek medical treatment for Graves ’ disease with which he has been diagnosed.

 

Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves said before coming to the country, he was contacted by Palmer’s lawyer about the possibility of the entertainer seeing experts in St. Vincent and the Grenadines to treat Graves’ Disease with which he has been diagnosed.

Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves said he gave the go ahead for Vybz Kartel to come to St. Vincent and the Grenadines for medical treatment because he believes in mercy and Mr. Palmer was reaching out for medical assistance.

 

He made it clear that the Government is not spending any money to facilitate Vybz Kartel being in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves said while he has been criticized for facilitating the entertainer seeking medical attention in the country, no-one in genuine need should ever be neglected.
