MS. JOANNE ADVIRA PARSONS of Freeland, Marriaqua died in New York on Wednesday August 6th at the age of 61. She was a member of staff at the St. Vincent Girls’ High School for nineteen years. The funeral takes place on Saturday August 23rd at the Mesopotamia Methodist Church. The body lies at the church from noon. The service begins at 1:00 pm. Burial will be at the Dumbarton Cemetery. Students of the GHS attending the funeral, are kindly asked to wear full uniform.
