President of the SVG Calypsonians Association Earl Bennett has commended the organizers of the East Saint George Rural Carnival for featuring Calypso as part of its Carnival celebrations on the weekend.
Mr. Bennett says calypso is a major component of Vincy mass and he’s urging other Rural Carnival committees to re-introduce calypso in next year’s activities.
