St. Vincent and the Grenadines could soon be home to a new Office of the Eastern Caribbean Civil Aviation Authority (ECCAA).
This is according to ECCAA Director General Anthony Whittier, who was delivering remarks during the official opening of the inaugural Eastern Caribbean Airports Executive Forum, at the Sandals Resort in Buccament yesterday.
The Forum brings together Airport CEOs, General Managers, and Aviation Regulators from across the Eastern Caribbean to address shared challenges and opportunities within the region’s aviation sector.
Mr. Whittier said the organization will be making some changes one of which will be the establishment of an ECCAA office in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The Forum is hosted by the Argyle International Airport Inc. in collaboration with the Eastern Caribbean Civil Aviation Authority.
