NBC Radio’s Jason Bess received the Special Mention Award for Best Radio Advertisement at the Caribbean Broadcasting Union (CBU) 37th Media Awards, held in Guyana on Wednesday night.
General Manager of NBC Radio Dionne John, who also serves as a CBU Director, attended the event as part of the 57th Annual General Assembly and received the award on behalf of Mr. Bess.
Mr. Bess said he was honoured to receive the award.
Meanwhile, Yinca Chambers of the Agency for Public Information won the Best Entertainment Item Award for her feature, “Union Island Culture.
General Manager of NBC Radio Dionne John also accepted this award, on behalf of the API.
