The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Transformation is appealing to pig farmers to desist from tying pigs on river banks.
The appeal came from Portfolio Minister Hon. Israel Bruce, during NBC’s Face to Face Programme.
Minister Bruce said it is a public health issue, which undermines river banks and forestation, and diminishes the quality of fish stock.
