Over three thousand passengers are expected to visit this country’s shores when the Cruise ship Ventura makes its first call to Port Kingstown today.
The Ventura is said to be one of the most anticipated cruise ships as it brings the most passengers at any one time and brings a crew of over two thousand five hundred.
A release from tour operators Coreas and Company says many passengers have already bought tour packages and will take in the various sights and places mainland St. Vincent has to offer.
October 8th signalled the start of the Cruise Ship season and there will be approximately one hundred and forty one calls to St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The Cruise ship season comes to an end mid-April.
