The preliminary judging in the Primary Schools Performing Arts Festival will climax next week.
Coordinator of the Festival, Drama Development Officer in the Ministry of Culture, Martin Quashie said they are continuing to receive overwhelming support from the public and Primary Schools in this program.
Mr. Quashie said they are continuing to witness high quality showcases from the children, with just a few days remaining in the preliminary judging which runs until March 5th.
He is therefore calling o parents to support their children who are interested in participating in the performing arts.
Mr. Quashie is also appealing to parents to invest in their children’s talents to help them to develop.
He said there are many opportunities for careers in the creative industries.

Some sixty-two Primary Schools are taking part in this year’s Festival. It is sponsored by Professional Secretarial and Consultancy Services Incorporated.
