
The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Bar Association will be involved in several new initiatives geared at addressing issues affecting the profession.
That according to newly elected President Rene Baptiste, who pointed out that steps will be taken by the new executive to lift the image of the Association.
She tells NBC News that the Association will also be looking at the reforms implemented at the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court, as well as continue its legal education and community outreach programs.

The other elected members of the executive are Vice-President Duane Daniel, Secretary Patricia Marks, Treasurer Patina Knights and Committee Members Shirlan Barnwell, Mikhail Charles and La Teisha Sandy.
Ms. Baptiste, a former Parliamentarian, is also Speaker of the OECS Assembly.
